Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students face a variety of learning challenges every day. They have diverse learning skills and needs. Having hands-on learning materials for my students to use when they are struggling to learn is essential. My goal is to ensure that my students have all the tools that they need in order to be successful in school!

Our school is made up of a wide variety of students from different socioeconomic backgrounds including low-income families.

New Mexico schools have had substantial cuts in funding. As my students are so excited to reach the stars with their education, I don't want a financial set back to stand in their way.

Having these materials will help tremendously with day to day routine. Clipboards will help students learn within different settings in the classroom and allowing flexible seating. The battery charger will allow students to have a chance to work with technology within the classroom with writing reports and typing skills. Colored drawers will help with better classroom organization!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
