My students use them for Amira, our reading assessment and practice program, which listens to students read aloud and provides individualized feedback. Having headphones with built-in microphones allows students to work independently, hear directions clearly, and focus on their own reading without being distracted by the sounds around them. This is especially important because Amira is part of our required state literacy assessment.\r\n\r\nMy students were especially excited to have their own headphones to use. They love putting them on and getting started independently, and I have noticed how much more focused and confident they are when using the technology. For some students, being able to quietly practice and hear their own reading without classroom distractions has made a big difference. What may seem like a simple pair of headphones has become an important tool that helps my students feel prepared, independent, and successful as they continue growing as readers.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students access to a resource that they can use every day. As we continue through the school year, my students will use these resources during small-group instruction, math practice, phonics activities, and many other lessons.
