Help me give my students basic classroom supplies to help them work and learn in a positive classroom environment to meet all of their varying needs each day.
It takes a lot to keep a classroom running all year long. My students are in my care for over 160 days throughout the school year. During this time, we use countless amounts of paper, glue, and markers.
I am requesting basic school supplies that will have a huge impact on our learning.
My students will use the writing journals to share their ideas and express themselves throughout the year. These writing journals will house all their writing and are able to be taken home and shared with families at the end of the year. The markers and whiteboards will be used daily to practice spelling words, math skills, and handwriting. The glue sticks and printer paper will be used for countless projects and tasks throughout the school year to demonstrate student understanding. The sticky notes and index cards will hold bright ideas and questions students may have throughout a story reading or a lesson. The paper towels and disinfectant wipes will keep our classroom as neat and shiny as my students’ futures. The birthday items will be used to celebrate each students’ special day and give them something to look forward to.
Each piece of this project will be used directly by students to help them take an active, hands-on role in their learning this year.
