Our student centric second grade class is comprised of energetic, motivated and an eager group of students! We have a diverse group of learners that represent cultures from around the world. They bring in a rich cultural diversity to our classroom community. At the beginning of the year, we are busy building long lasting and meaningful relationships with one another. As a whole class, we represent a community of lifelong learners! My students and I practice the concept of a "growth mindset" in our classroom.
My students are curious and intellectually flexible!
We want to always try our very best, never give up, and always learn from every interaction, both inside and outside our classroom.
A new school year is very exciting for me and my students. We cannot wait to get started with our learning. However, our classroom needs a supply of basic classroom tools like rulers, erasers, markers and tape for everyday use. Students need Post-it notes to write their thinking about their books during Readers’ Workshop. We need a constant supply of these sticky notes to mark up our reading books.
The classroom supplies will allow us to dive into to our curriculum immediately, and enable students to engage in the learning process creatively.
The Crayola watercolor boxes will help students to create amazing art pieces for their classroom art portfolios. The flip chart markers are used extensively during Writers Workshop. Students use the double sided tape to create their writing portfolios in class. My class students and I would greatly appreciate if we received these supplies for our classroom. It would help support all my students in the classroom.
