Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are superheroes in training! They are always ready and willing to be there for others. They are enthusiastic learners who are striving to be the very best version of themselves. We work daily on becoming positive role models to others. Our mission is to inspire greatness in others by what we do everyday. They come from many different backgrounds and are always willing to be leaders. More than one-third of my students come from low-income families.

My Project

Pre-K is crucial to have basic classroom supplies. It is important to ensure that the classroom stays clean and healthy throughout the course of the school year. We need supplies like Kleenex tissues for runny noses, paper towels to dry hands and wipe up spills, and Clorox wipes to wash desks and chairs. These Clorox wipes will allow us to wash our tables after breakfast, snack, and whenever they get dirty! We are very busy in kindergarten, and these Clorox wipes will allow us to work and play in a healthy and clean environment. We also need hand soap and hand sanitizer to wash dirty hands. Clean up, clean up, everybody, everywhere!

Having a clean and healthy classroom is so important to me and their parents.

It will help make the children proud of their classroom as they attend school each and every day. They will learn the responsibility of keeping their classroom clean through the use of these products, as well. We need chart paper to put up ideas, copy paper and ink for their work to hang around the room. I want my students to have everything they need to make sure their school year is exciting and fun, as well as productive and successful throughout the school year.
