Balance Between Digital and Analog

Help me give my students books they can read and options to different genres and authors to help develop a love of reading. Reading gives students more empathy and helps build vocabulary.

My Students

My students know the power of education. They desire to learn and understand how it will benefit them in the future and the success knowledge helps them create. My students want to have choice and control over their learning and take an active part in their education. A lot of students will be doing at-home learning.

My Project

I want to create a balance of digital learning and also on paper learning. Covid has forced more and more learning and teaching to be online that it has become the new normal for students; however, students are also missing that just "good old fashion" paper and pen learning. It has amazed me how excited students will get when I tell them we aren't using Chromebooks that day and get to work on paper or they can be creative and color in their homework. I want the balance between being able to teach them virtually and digitally but also give them the opportunity to take a break from technology.

Also particularity because of Covid kids going online has put a greater strain on needing to communicate virtually and I need to be able to respond to them as quickly as possible to help reduce the stress and anxiety when they are online.
