Help me give my students a drum set for jazz band performances in our community.

My Project

My students are very talented and full of potential. They don't have the best things, but they always make it work out. For our jazz band, our current drum set is at least 20 years old and literally falling apart. There are screws coming out of rack toms and the floor tom legs are falling off, which require constant adjustment while playing.

Having this new drum set will allow the jazz band to set up a lot faster, travel more places to perform, and improve sound quality.

We currently perform at local community events around the holidays and throughout the year at various contests. We would like to be able to perform at other places like our local nursing homes and at our local schools to increase the interest in music education.

I personally teach all percussion students and one of the most crucial lessons are on drum set. Having a good functioning drum set is key for learning. The new drum set will motivate my students go above and beyond.
