Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the students I teach. I am motivated by their eagerness to learn. It is my goal to provide an atmosphere in my classroom where students understand that while a major goal is to ensure that learning happens, it is as important that students know that a basic need such as access to drinking water in the classroom is within their reach.

Having these basic necessities inside my classroom would afford students the opportunity to continue their learning and increase in-class time.

These materials will be used throughout the school year to aid in student learning and boost their morale.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
