My students create a family at our school. We are a performing arts family (bands, choirs, strings, theater, and dance) that support each other on the stage, in the classroom, and beyond. We are a NJ high school, just outside NYC, servicing a multicultural population of students from varying socioeconomic backgrounds. We strongly believe that the arts can instill positive change, transform, inspire, and change lives.
This project includes bulletin board supplies and classroom posters to help us get a great start to the school year.
This project is for basic supplies to help us get charged up for a great start to the school year. Kleenex will comfort our students throughout the year. Between our choir, band, piano, theatre, and dance rooms, we never seem to have enough. The decorations will be for the bulletin boards in iur arts hallway, choir classroom, and piano lab. We are so proud of the bright, colorful, and inviting learning spaces, and these bulletin board supplies help us accomplish that mission.
The music program is a powerful unifier in our school. We are going to build this program over a strong foundation and proud history and generations of art students. Our students are very diverse and love to perform. We have choir, musical theater, drama, and dance performance opportunities throughout the school day.
We want to establish a warm, safe environment and make the kids feel at home. These tools will support our mission to spread the importance of arts education in our community, highlight our student performers, continue to build pride in their performing skills, and provide equal access to all.
