Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This school year we began a "normal" school year after a wild year of Distance and Hybrid Learning. I teach at a wonderful school with a diverse population. Our school also serves the Migrant Worker Community, homeless and foster children.

My students are hard-working, love to learn, and are excited about returning to school in the fall.

With our state’s current economic situation I have no idea what my students or their families are experiencing. I want their school experience to be positive and successful by providing them with everything they need to have a successful school year.

My Project

This year we are back in our classroom 100%! Unfortunately, many of my students fell behind a little from all the craziness of the past school year. My students are in need of some fun and engaging resources to help with intervention, reading, math, and science. Luckily, so many amazing teachers have created and shared online resources on Teachers Pay Teachers. Having access to these resources without worrying about the cost would help to support learning and also provide bilingual access to the families in my classroom. I would like to purchase resources and activities to help make learning fun and interesting for my awesome students. I would also buy items to print off for students. I will give quality instruction to my students every day, but access to these resources would be an amazing tool and would help our lessons to be more engaging.
