It has been another great year at Adams Elementary. We continue to strive to help children to understand that a positive mindset is a valuable tool for setting and reaching goals. This is all part of an enriching education and an enriching life.
Our school values an engaging and dynamic learning community.
We understand that motivation is one key to success. To support student motivation, we use positive reinforcement to encourage students. One way we do it is by allowing children to earn SOAR cards and purchase tickets to SOAR Celebrations.. Traditionally the 4th quarter SOAR Celebration is the biggest celebration.
Students earn SOAR cards by being great classroom and school citizens, taking part as learners, and finding value in their work at school. As the students accumulate SOAR cards, they choose how to spend them. This allows the students to have a voice in their rewards.
We want to be sure that these rewards have real value and meaning for the students. Therefore we are working to raise money to provide an exciting and rewarding 4th quarter celebration.
