My Project

Kids LOVE to learn, and they LOVE to read. One of the best parts of my job is helping kids find their "favorite" book! Authors like Jeffrey Dean, David Shannon, Mo WIllems and Derrick Barnes become fast favorites for little hearts and minds.

By purchasing multiple books from these amazing authors, it will give more students a chance to explore and foster their love for learning.

These stories have simple text with repetition, or feature a character that they would like to hang out with. They are also funny! Making connections while reading is so important for growth, especially at young ages.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
