My Project

The favorite part of my day is arrival! I love to see the students come through the door ready for another day at school. The smiles, hugs, high fives, and even little dances make everyday brighter. However, there are some missing faces each day for a variety of reasons. Our school is focusing on improving overall attendance rate.

Research shows that student who are at school regularly are able to reach their academic goals as well as improving their social and emotional skills.

We want to use the Incentive Pencils to recognize students who are being attendance leaders! We will use the pencils to recognize those students who have been attendance leaders each month. In addition we will also recognize those students who have made significant gains in attendance. The recognition will help to motivate students to be diligent about attending school each day. Thank you in advance for your support!
