My Project

A home living center will encourage students to engage in pretend play while building communication, social-emotional, fine motor, problem-solving, and independence skills. Students will have opportunities to practice functional activities such as preparing and serving food, using household items, caring for a baby, cleaning, and interacting with peers.

Providing authentic and accessible materials will help bridge the connection between classroom learning and real-life experiences.

These hands-on opportunities can support students in developing greater confidence, independence, and participation in daily routines while making learning meaningful and fun. Having these functional early learning experiences are a key part of my students educational journey.
