My Project

With the aspiring artist project, the supplies listed would be an absolute blessing to have in the classroom. As aspiring artists, we go through supplies like crazy!! But that is never an issue when the kids are getting to experiment, try out different mediums and processes, and learn more about art history while having some fun!

The supplies listed, such as pencils, erasers, paper, and sharpies we use for a variety of different projects.

We love using them to learn different drawing methods, using them to plan out ideas for different projects, to create sketchbooks for the semester, and we also use erasers for a variety of things and even carve them to make some fun printmaking stamps.

We also loved the shrink paper and the scratch paper last semester. I brought some one day for a craft week I taught, and the students consistently would ask for me to pick up more. So if those were donated, I know my students would absolutely flip out and be super excited. When the art-making is also done for the day, the cleaning wipes would also be amazing to help keep my classroom tables clean and tidy.

I am hoping that with this project we have some supplies for my students and me to create the entire semester while also having plenty of access to the necessities. Every single one of my art students is so talented, and having that access to supplies allows them to shine.
