My Project

Art class naturally creates a sense of community among students, allowing them to connect with peers who share the same passion. My students are always searching for new ways to deepen their understanding by participating in the arts and celebrating each other's artistic endeavors. My goal for this project is to build a community of artists within our school through sketchbooks and student-led displays.

In connection with the National Core Art Standards, "students select, analyze, and interpret artistic work for presentation."

Personalized sketchbooks serve as a vehicle to document the early stages of their art-making, ultimately leading them to their own curated display. The black foam core is for students to create display spaces to exhibit their pieces to their community.

Join us in our mission to empower students through visual arts education! Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and brings us one step closer. Together, we can inspire the next generation of artists through sketchbooks and presentations.
