My Students

My 24 amazing third grade students are eager to learn, explore, and experience new things. They come to me from a variety of backgrounds, but they have one major thing in common: they all want to succeed. Please assist me in helping each child to realize this important goal. Children learn best by exploring with all of their senses so I strive to provide multiple opportunities each day for them to explore math and STEM concepts in hands-on ways. As a teacher I want to fulfill our district’s mission of meeting the needs of “Every Child, Every Day.” Thank you for your consideration.

My Project

Students have had a very hard time with COVID, learning, and staying focused in class. The art supplies will give my students more opportunities to express themselves artistically. I'm excited to introduce them to printmaking activities and watch them create special projects relating to social studies and science. We will be using the whiteboards to increase engagement during our math, language arts, and science activities.

The fraction tiles are a wonderful resource which helps the students understand how to compare fractions in a visual way.

I'm very excited to have headphones for my students to use on a daily basis as they engage in digital activities in our Google Classroom.
