This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students will use vocabulary art posters to keep up with vocabulary they learn as they create their art projects. Vocabulary is important to understand and be able to explain what they are learning and creating.
Students will have a variety of clay tools to help them explore their creativity.
As they create clay projects, they will have the opportunity to use their imagination.
It is in the art room where the celebration of creativity happens!
Student will use storage bins and containers in order to learn to be responsible and keep their art room organized. They will be reminded of safety and care for school art materials.
Students will use large puzzles in small groups to nurture working together and problem solve. They love knowing they can work as a group and find solutions. The best part being, making a new friend, in the process.
