Art Materials for a Pre-K Classroom in Queens!

My Students

I work with an incredible group of diverse pre-kindergarten students. Most of the students come from low-income families, so educational materials are hard to come by.

Early childhood grades have always been something that is very near and dear to my heart.

There are so many different cultures and personalities, but the one thing that my students all have in common is that they all love to learn and work together as a classroom community. They each have a lot to offer and share.

My Project

I am requesting various art supplies from Amazon and Lakeshore such as hole punchers, clear bins, and snap and learn toys for some of our art projects. The hole punchers will be placed in our clear bins. We use it to practice our fine motor skills as well as punching holes to hang our art work throughout the classroom. The clear bins will be used to display and store our art materials. The snap and learn toys will be used in our play doh center. We can create different play doh molds with the llamas and ice pops.

Art is a wonderful way for my students to express their creativity.

Each item was carefully picked out to complete our art center.
