Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Art isn't just an extra activity in kindergarten; it is a critical doorway to learning. My project, "Art is For Everyone," aims to provide high-quality, accessible art supplies that allow all of my students to create, communicate, and explore without barriers.

When a child is still mastering English, handed a pencil, they might feel hesitant.

But when given a paintbrush, clay, or vibrant oil pastels, they can instantly share their ideas, process their emotions, and build pride in their accomplishments.

Through this project, we are requesting:

Tactile & Inclusive Art Materials: Crayons with inclusive skin tones, easy-grip paintbrushes, non-toxic clays, and rich watercolor sets.

Fine-Motor & Sensory Tools: Safety scissors, textured paper, and stampers that build crucial hand strength for early writing.

Storage & Display Supplies: Drying racks and frames to showcase our artists' work proudly in the hallway.
