My Project

In our art classroom, creativity is a powerful tool for expression, connection, and growth—but for many of my students, especially those in our life skills program and those who benefit from additional sensory support, traditional classroom setups can present barriers to fully participating.

This project is designed to create a more inclusive, accessible, and supportive art environment where every student can thrive.

With adapted art supplies, students of all abilities will be able to engage in creative activities with greater independence and confidence. Alternative seating options like bean bags will provide flexible, comfortable spaces that help students regulate and focus, while Magnatiles and other hands-on materials will offer calming, sensory-rich experiences that support both learning and emotional well-being.

By funding this project, you are helping to build a classroom where differences are embraced, needs are met, and all students have the opportunity to express themselves through art in ways that feel safe, empowering, and joyful. Thank you for supporting a space where every child belongs.
