My Project

We want to create a dedicated art space and time in our classroom. We want to study artists in a comprehensive way by looking at them historically, exploring their biographies, and getting hands-on experience creating artworks in their style.

We mostly need the drying rack and materials that get used up quickly.

We have a sink in our classroom so we will try to use this area as an art and artist research center. We want to develop a sense of the bigger picture of how art fits into our world historically, how it is influenced by history, and how it changes perspectives.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
