Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are such a fun and lovable group! Not only do students come from varying ethnic backgrounds, but also from different parts of the world! They've enjoyed learning about each other's cultures. In doing so, they've come to understand that being different is something to be embraced!

My students are hard-working, creative kids who all learn differently and at different levels.

If you take a tour of our classroom, you will see my students working with iPads and computers. They love being able to incorporate technology in their learning. They thrive on differentiation and tracking their learning.

My Project

Having these iPad docking stations will help my student know there is a designated area where our classroom iPads go to get charged. It will help facilitate routines and procedures daily and alleviate any confusion. My students will learn the proper way to handle technology and will learn the steps needed to get them charged.

As a first grade teacher, it is important for me to teach my students how technology can be used to enhance their learning.

Having the responsibility of charging our classroom iPads will help my students have a sense of ownership and respect for our technology.
