Animatronic Creatures

Help me give my students supplies to design and create animatronic characters using sewing and robotics!

My Project

Students are intrigued by robotics, animatronics, and computer coding so we are combining these STEM activities into one innovative project!

Students will work in teams to create an original animatronic creature using stuffed animals and robotic parts.

They will design, build, stuff, sew, and code their creature to move along with an original story the students create. Students will work to create a creature to go along with our novel, A Wrinkle in Time, and then create their own story surrounding their creation. The animatronic will move along to the story the students have created.
