My Project

I am reaching out to ask for your support through donations to Mr. Renzo’s 7th Grade Health and Science class! Our classroom uses a reward system called Halos, where students earn rewards for participating, demonstrating good behavior, following directions, and putting forth their best effort.

The Halo system has made a tremendous difference in our classroom!

Student engagement and participation have increased significantly because students have something positive to work toward. Students can exchange their earned Halos for small rewards, such as Jolly Ranchers and other individually packaged snacks, in our classroom Halo Store.

One of the most rewarding outcomes has been seeing students who struggle with reading become more confident and willing to practice. Many students need extra encouragement to read aloud, answer questions, and participate in discussions. By creating a fun, supportive environment where effort is recognized, students become more willing to challenge themselves. Throughout the semester, it is wonderful to see their confidence grow and their reading skills improve.

The science-themed tapestries will also help transform our classroom into a more welcoming, colorful, and educational space. These displays can spark curiosity, reinforce science concepts, and encourage students to explore new ideas and discover how the world works.

Your donations will help provide both the visual learning materials and the small rewards that keep our students motivated. Together, these supplies will help us maintain a positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate, strengthen their academic skills, and celebrate their progress.
