My Project

Being a teacher in Hawaii is at its most difficult time. After the recent devastation and loss in Maui, everyone is trying their best to navigate these difficult times. Thus, school has become a huge role in some students' lives. Despite the harsh realities of what is going on in students' personal lives, we as teachers are committed to providing them with constant comfort and guidance. One opportunity that allows students to "escape" their current reality is through reading. Thus, I would like to humbly ask for your donation to help provide students with books that can not only be used as a coping mechanism but as an educational tool. As seen in my donors list, there are several sets of books that my students have taken an interest in. However, we do not have the financial means to purchase these books in bulk. More importantly, supporting students' reading/literacy is a powerful investment. By contributing to literacy programs, you empower young minds to unlock a world of knowledge and opportunities. Your generosity can bridge educational gaps while also enhancing a catalyst for positive change; fostering a society that values knowledge; critical thinking; and lifelong learning. Again, please help me support these young learners by donating to shaping a brighter and more informed future for generations to come.
