An Astronomy Tablet to Pair with Our New Astrophotography Telescope

My Project

I'm starting up a new astronomy class at my high school (after a multi-year absence of the course). It will be the first time I've taught the course but it's a subject that has always fascinated me. My students come from diverse backgrounds but most are very inquisitive about how our universe works and what their place is in it.

I was recently told that I'll be able to have multiple sections of astronomy in its first year and the students (many of which I taught physics to this year) and I are very excited to begin this journey.

We have an astrophotography telescope on the way and we now need a tablet to open up views of the stars, planets and galaxies when we go outside for class and evening viewings. During the day we'll be able to view the moon and sun (with included filters).

I'm asking for a Samsung tablet to connect with the telescope we will be receiving. I'm also requesting a case for it and some toner cartridges to have on hand for many of the astronomy activities and labs students will need. My students and I thank you for considering a donation to help us get to our goal.
