Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Math is hard! Nevertheless, we make math fun in our classroom. We have access to manipulatives, Chromebooks, and other tools so that students who have learning disabilities can understand the curriculum being taught. I continuously use the projector the school provides to work through mathematical problems with my students, but that requires me to be in front of the class for the majority of a lesson.

We need an Apple TV and iPad so that I can rotate the classroom to support individual students while facilitating to the whole class.

My students will be able to engage with our lessons in meaningful and more hands-on ways. I can utilize the iPad to make my instruction more interactive while using Airplay on the TV to reinforce my learning objectives.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
