This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My English Learners are resilient, enthusiastic, and eager to learn every single day. Coming from diverse backgrounds, they bring rich experiences, vibrant cultures, and incredible determination to our Title I classroom. They show up ready to take on the challenge of learning academic content while mastering a new language, supporting one another with kindness and curiosity at every step.

Learning a language requires hearing subtle sounds and practicing speaking without fear of judgment.

Headphones with built-in microphones give my students a quiet, focused space in a busy classroom to record their speech, listen to audio lessons clearly, and work on digital tools like Summit K-12. By reducing background noise and providing privacy, these headsets build their confidence, sharpen their pronunciation, and give every child the voice they deserve.
