My Project

Our school's readers are curious, determined, and eager to learn about the world around them. They ask thoughtful questions, engage deeply with new ideas, and get excited about stories that connect history, geography, and real-life heroes. We want to encourage and facilitate this type of engagement by ensuring that the books in our school's media center collection extend what students are learning in their classrooms and are experiencing in the world around them.

With the United States of America's 250th birthday approaching, we want to capitalize on this historic milestone in our country's history by providing our school's readers with a variety of new books that will help them to delve into United States history, geography, and culture.

The books in this project will help readers to learn more about different aspects of our country, from the stories behind the founding of the nation to its national parks and its wildlife.

Thank you for considering providing your support for this project to provide our school's readers with an engaging and relevant collection of books to read for information and for enjoyment.
