My Project

I love that my students are eager to learn. I love that they have high levels of energy, and I love that they want to get the most out of their education. My students come from homes were resources are scarce, and often, the classroom is where they feel the most safe. I try to make the classroom a place where they can come to feel comforted, safe, wanted, valued, and where they can just be themselves. I've asked for these four items to give my students alternative places to sit in the classroom. Many of the have ADHD and sensory issues, so I would like them to also have seating that is comfortable for them. I want them to know that I care about who they are, and that I recognize where they come from, and celebrate them just being in attendance.
