Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students strive every day to improve their reading and math skills. They come to my sessions with great enthusiasm. They are passionate to show their love of learning. These students come with smiles on their faces and strive for excellence and success. Sometimes, they need the extra push, but they strive to their maximum potential.

My Project

These manipulatives for math will aid my students who need support in mathematics to see things more visually and the hands-on activity makes it sensory, while increasing student involvement. Students will be able to increase their participation for math and develop their love towards mathematics.

Students also will feel a sense of accomplishment when they understand the concept independently with the use of the manipulatives.

This will allow students’ to take ownership of their learning. They will be able to reach their maximum potential and succeed continuously in mathematics.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
