My Students

I strive each day to provide the students with a passion for learning and perseverance. This is what I hope they continue to develop as they head towards a college and/or career filled future. The students I am honored to teach this year are creative and inspiring six-year-old boys and girls.

Each student brings their talents to the classroom and is eager to help their peers blossom throughout the school year.

Our school is a Title I school in which 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. We also provide our students with a fresh fruit and vegetable program to introduce them to healthy options they may not be exposed to otherwise.

The limitations that most of these students may have on their lives should never be limited within the classroom. We strive, as a school and district, to provide the best opportunities in which each child will thrive.

My Project

Please help us give our students the "ears" they need to enjoy the Chromebooks we have. Currently, we have Chromebooks for our first graders to use during centers to help build and increase math skills. However, we only have a limited amount of headphones to use with our Chromebooks due to them constantly breaking. Therefore, we are not able to utilize this wonderful resource we have available for our first graders.

The students love actively engaging in math activities on the Chromebooks.

We want to continue to provide them with technology enhancements to prepare them for their future learning!
