This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing. They come to school with a smile on their face and leave at the end of the day with that same smile. They love learning. They need help learning their addition and subtraction facts.

I teach 27 amazing students.

Some are bilingual, some come from poverty, some are shy, some are energetic, but they are all wonderful. All my students want to learn. They just don't have the necessary supplies or materials at home to enrich or reinforce their school learning.

My Project

My students are learning to add and subtract numbers to 20. We have learned many strategies to help them do this. They now need to be able to master these facts quickly. We use computer programs in the classroom to help them with their math fluency on addition and subtraction. They will use these flashcards at home to help them learn their math facts.

This donation will have such an impact on my students and my classroom.
