Kindergarten is such an exciting grade to teach with students of varied abilities, interests, and skillsets. But the one thing they all have in common is their eagerness for learning.
My energetic Kindergartners enter the classroom each day ready to discover, explore, and learn new things.
They beam with joy as they proudly identify letters, discover sounds, and learn to write. They get excited to read books, draw pictures, sing songs, count, practice their handwriting, and play throughout our day.
My students love arts and crafts. I would like to continue encouraging their love of art by adding needed basic art supplies to our classroom. These materials will be used during our learning activities so that my students can express themselves, think creatively, and further their engagement and understanding of our learning topics.
Currently, our classroom has no paints, brushes, ink pads, play-doh, or other essential art supplies.
Our crayons are down to their stubs and our markers have run out of ink.
This project would give us these items and allow us to bring more fun and creativity into a classroom of eager young learners and artists.
