These books will play an important role in enhancing the print-rich classroom that I strive to create for my Kindergarten students. With regular read-alouds that boost students' literacy development, having engaging books that hold my students' interests as well as align with our curriculum and social skills learning is eagerly wished for. Every book that is placed in my library is accessible to students and treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read and explore the print concepts they are learning. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind; they have all given their input on what types of books they would enjoy having in our library. I am also requesting a class set of book bins so that students can keep their reading materials organized. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in their reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word and set a good foundation for continued literacy success.
