Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Currently, the non-fiction section of the library is woefully small and out of date. Most titles are at least twenty-five years old. There are approximately 5 titles for every student in the school. The American Library Association recommends that libraries have at least 25 items per student.
Because of the age and size of the collection, students do not have access to current and accurate information regarding climate change and the environment.
Help me provide students with the resources they need to effectively research and understand the affects of climate change and the environment that surrounds them.
