Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my class consists of general education as well as students with special needs. When I am planning for all of my students, I incorporate visual hands-on learning stations for the children.

The large whiteboard will display our activities for the day as well as a visual worksheet to correspond with each lesson.

When the timer is activated for each lesson. A student will be called to the whiteboard to demonstrate the lesson for the day!

The student will advise other classmates to add their names to the board if they need to revisit a skill being taught for each day or ask a friend who has mastered the skill. This is great for peer tutoring when the teacher is working with another group.
