My Project

Every day, my third graders arrive eager to learn, ask questions, and take on new challenges. They bring curiosity, creativity, and a LOT of energy into our classroom! While each student learns differently, many of my students do their best thinking when they have opportunities to move. We incorporate lots of movement into our classroom instruction by matching vocabulary words with motions, acting out math word problems for comprehension, and giving students an opportunity to move whenever possible.

Research has shown that opportunities for movement can improve students' attention, increase time on task, and reduce disruptive behaviors, making it easier for children to stay engaged throughout the school day.

Providing flexible seating options like wobble stools will give students a healthy outlet for movement while allowing them to stay engaged in lessons, participate in discussions, and remain focused on learning.

My students work incredibly hard each day and deserve a classroom that meets their unique needs. They are resilient, enthusiastic, and always ready to give their best effort. By providing wobble stools, you are helping create an environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and empowered to do their very best! Your generosity will allow my third graders to move, focus, and thrive as they continue their learning journey.
