My Project

As the Computer teacher for the school, I teach all classes from Pre-K to 8th grade. These students come from lower income households where they often don't have access to a computer until they come to school. The younger students are learning basic skills such as where the letters are on the keyboard and how to use the mouse, in addition to learning the parts of the computer and how to use the computer properly and safely. They also only have 35 minutes a week to learn these skills.

ABCya provides over 300 safe and educational games for grades PreK through 6.

This website contains many activities that cover the topics the students are learning. Previously it was free and I used it quite often. Now that it is not, I find I am missing those activities.

It also has fun games that the students enjoy and I know are safe for them to go on. A subscription will enable me to provide these resources to my students again.
