My school is currently working on our 2nd year of Disney Musicals in Schools. The students are putting on a production of Aladdin. Our students our excited to take on the challenge of dancing, signing, and acting. My students are growing everyday through their experience.
Our school is a Title I school where 98% of the students receive free lunch.
Disney Musicals in Schools has given our students a once in a life time opportunity. Our program has changed the lives of our students. Students have found courage and their voice. Others have found a desire to focus on school and have made remarkable improvements in reading.
We will be using the materials to transform our students into the characters from Aladdin. My students have been working on the musical Aladdin for 4 months, and will preform their musical in March.
My students can sing and dance the part, now they need to look the part.
Our students have worked so hard and I want them to have costumes that look amazing. I want my students to have true musical experience which includes real costumes. The clothes you wear can change your attitude and the costumes my students wear can change their performance. Please help light up the faces of my cast with costumes.
