Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Don't you work best when you are in a location that is welcoming and looks well? That is the feeling I want my students to have when they enter my classroom!

I want students to have a culturally relevant classroom, where they feel comfortable and connected to their environment.

I am kindly requesting fabric that will be used on my bulletin boards, where student work will be on display. The colors are beautiful and vibrant and will make students joyful by having colorful walls to showcase their work. I also included string lights for a calming effect along with a letter board to display positive daily affirmations. I also included a large bean bag for our calming corner where students will have a chance to have a corner to relax and calm deal with their emotions and the lights are also a calming feature. Lysol wipes will allow me to keep the classroom clean. I also included Glade plug ins for a nice clean smelling room, trash bags and a water hose to help us water recently planted seeds.Thanks in advance for donating towards my project, I can't wait to revamp my classroom into a more welcoming space for my students.
