My Students

My students are always eager to participate, and I see them grow by leaps and bounds every day. These children are always so excited to see what each day will bring. My students are just learning how to be in school, and each day brings something new! We learn about citizenship, science tools, math, reading and so much more. I have so many exciting things to share with my students.

My students learn best through hands-on experiences.

Fun Science Fridays, math units, and ELA are just a few areas that benefit from manipulatives. I also love to teach my students to be organized. It helps them channel their thoughts and locate things easily. They will learn many things with me.

In short, my kids are always eager to learn something new every day. I am excited to see their progress daily. They have been presented with many obstacles this past year, but they don't let those issues stop them. I love making school a place they want to be. They are not just learning phonics and numbers, they are developing their background knowledge and social skills for future grades.

My Project

The materials we are asking for will update and refill our classroom treasure box. Students can earn punches on their punch cards with good behavior, by reaching goals and doing their best on work. They can turn in a full punch card for a trip to the treasure box.

I want to make the items in our treasure box useful.

Little trinkets are fun, but they break easily and get lost quickly. These new items will excite students because they can use them every day in class.

Students will be more excited about writing if they have special supplies to use. Colored pencils, fancy erasers and twisty crayons will make students want to pull out their supplies to accomplish the day's goals. The items on this wish list will get students excited about classwork!
