I am starting the year with some awesome kids! My "Proud Peacocks" are eager to participate, and they are already growing by leaps and bounds. These children are so excited to see what each day will bring. We just finished learning about the five senses and science tools. This has made them hands-on learners! My students are extremely curious and technology driven. They love to laugh, listen to stories and show creativity. Science and social studies are two subjects they find vastly interesting at the moment. Other students are confused when my kids talk about "Fun Science Fridays"! In short, these kids are eager to learn something new every day. They are not just learning letter sounds and numbers. They want to know more about the world around them. The best lesson I have taught them so far is that learning can be fun. When they move on to the higher grades, I want them to remember the joy of learning.
