This simple yet powerful resource has significantly reduced the number of trips students need to make to the nurse for basic hygiene needs. Instead of feeling embarrassed or unprepared, they can discreetly and confidently take care of themselves and return to learning without disruption.\r\n\r\nThe addition of flavor packets has also been a surprising hit! These small treats have encouraged students to drink more water throughout the day, helping them stay hydrated and energized. Similarly, the mints and peppermints have become a small but mighty tool in our classroom. Students often reach for them when they have a dry throat, need to settle an upset stomach, or simply need something to help them stay alert and focused during class. It's amazing how such a simple item can make such a big difference in their comfort and concentration.\r\n\r\nThis is not just a one-time project—it's something I plan to continue using for the next group of 7th graders and for many more years to come. Your support has helped lay the foundation for a lasting resource that will benefit countless students in the future.\r\n\r\nYour belief in our classroom and in the potential of our future generations means the world to us. It's incredibly uplifting to know that there are people like you who not only see the value in education but also take action to support it. Your kindness has created a ripple effect of positivity that will be felt far beyond this school year.","fullyFundedDate":1746498006869,"projectUrl":"project/fresh-clean-ultimate-student-hygiene/9316410/","projectTitle":"Fresh & Clean: Ultimate Student Hygiene Hub","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wetzel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4830579_orig.jpg?crop=1206,1205,x0,y538&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1715963827699","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/rebeccawetzel"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_13392","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":878,"numTeachers":80,"percentFrplEligible":64,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":83,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"11.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":58.8,"schoolId":13392,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about West Wortham Elementary Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"West Wortham Elementary Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/mississippi/harrison-county-school-district/west-wortham-elementary-school/13392"}
