My students need a class set of dry erase boards, colored pencils, and a globe to enrich our learning! We like to complete an interactive activity with every standard weekly so having these items will allow us to do that way more often. The dry erase boards can be used individually and for team work during whole group instruction at the beginning of our lessons. They can also be used for review work and as an exit ticket! Hands on learning and stepping away from paper and pencils has been proven to enhance student learning. Labeling and dissecting our word problems is easier when we can see the difference in the parts using colored pencils. Our colored pencils are low already and we have been doing our best, but a new class set would tremendously help! This project will allow hands on learning, visualizing, and enriching with every one of my students!
