So far, they have earned a class popcorn party for good behavior and shared the popcorn with all of kindergarten for a sight word party. They even got to share the popcorn love with third grade the day before their state test! I made the popcorn, and my students handed bags out to each third grader along with words of encouragement for their test. It was an awesome moment of giving back.\r\n Our next mission with the popcorn machine is to welcome our up-and-coming kindergarteners with the salty treat at our Kindergarten Preview Night! We will also get to share the love during teacher appreciation week. We truly appreciate all our donors. You are truly Classroom Angels. We get to give our kids experiences and special rewards they might not get otherwise because of you.
