Help me give my students the ability to not only document and review their communication skills, but to learn how to produce professional video with this camera and microphone set-up.

My Project

My English learners are so inspirational in their efforts to acquire our language. It gives me great pleasure to see their pride in communicating a presentation in their second language, but they struggle with confidence in speaking. Seeing and hearing a quality video of their class presentations will undoubtedly increase their understanding of what they need to improve and boost their confidence once they can visit the improvements I already see them making.

At less than $800, the camera I am asking for, a Sony ZV-1, is an excellent blend of affordability and professional, broadcast-quality production with the added functionality of mic inputs.

The wireless Lavalier mics, Comica Cv WM-100s, are a great, budget way to cut out background noise and allow the students to forget they are being recorded and relax.

This camera and microphone set can shoot at a distance while pinpointing the subject's audio. This set-up will add value in and beyond the classroom, made available for a host of student activities and documentation.
