My Project

Often when we think of learning in a school setting, we imagine lined paper and notebooks, sharpened pencils, and textbooks. My students use those things, but they also need other materials to connect their learning. We frequently use highlighters to practice reading strategies and build organizational skills with notes and other learning materials.

These highlighters will give my students opportunities to highlight new ideas and use other processing strategies with their notes and texts we read.

In addition to using highlighters as learning tools, they also create student work for portfolios. The erasers are helpful because making mistakes is a huge part of learning, and students get frustrated when they use their pencil eraser so quickly. Having the Clic Erasers helps overcome that obstacle so they can continue making mistakes and learning.
