Our students make discoveries and explore phenomena throughout the year. Calculators will enable them to calculate scale and further understand our solar system, and the digital scale will allow them to measure and compare changes in weights for calculations about properties of matter, weather, and the ecosystem. One of the most exciting things the students will get to do is track how the properties of matter change! To properly explore matter, we need an electric kettle to quickly heat water without a stove so that the students can change a solid to a liquid. Our petri dishes will give students the opportunity to track growth within an ecosystem. These items will give my students not only the tools they need to succeed, but open the doors to excitement about learning and discovery!
